It proved to be very helpful in building the relational foundation of our group.

This book is for older people, exclusively. I'm 23 and we tried this book in a small group setting, and found in marginally applicable and not exciting to read on a weekly basis. The principles are not anything out of the ordinary, however the presentation and feel of this book are not conducive to that of a younger crowd.

My group is twenty-something single women and we loved the book. It's a good starter book in that it allows individuals to open up as little or as much as they are comfortable in doing. Ortberg is always good at presenting relevant topics in a light and fun way.
